Market Boy’s journey began in April 2020 during the circuit breaker period as an initiative to help out local wet market hawkers digitalise as well as to provide a helping hand to families who had difficulty in obtaining fresh groceries due to the various restrictions and safety measures imposed.
Till date, we are proud to say that we have successfully partnered with multiple hawkers, enabling us to successfully bring the entire wet market online. Within a short span of time, Market Boy have gained the support of many consumers. Till date, we have served over 5000 customers islandwide.
Additionally, we have also collaborated with brands/organisation such as Grab, Shopee, SAFRA, Ezlink, etc. Our efforts in serving the community have also been recognised in various NUS articles (where our founder is from). Most recently, our founder is featured for the NUS Admissions 2021.
However, despite our successes, Market Boy's journey in digitalising Singapore's wet market is only beginning. We aim to one day digitalise the nation's wet market scene and provide never before quality and convenience to all consumers.
