Handmade Thick Mee Sua is a bit thicker as compared to thin Mee Sua, it is a variety of salted noodles made from wheat flour, China and often refer to as longevity noodles, also a symbol of good health and long life. As such, Mee Sua is usually cooked during important festivities by the Chinese especially during birthday celebration for the eldest.
Replacing white flour noodles, thin Mee Sua is higher in fibre, vitamin E and vitamin B6. It’s also low in some nutrients like fiber and protein, Mee Sua contain several micronutrients, including iron, manganese, folate and B vitamins.
