Long Tau Pok is commonly used in Yong Tau Foo, Rojak and Laksa. Usually used to be added this protein-rich ingredient to stews and braises. It is also good for salads, soup and grilling and being used as a casing to stuff fillings in.
Long Tau Pok is high in protein and fat. Also, it has a much lower calcium content than tau kwa. Recommend to add extra vegetables into the dish to increase the consumption of fiber and vitamins.
